Marketplace Relationship Ambassador

Due North Media seeks an outgoing, well-spoken Client Ambassador/Marketplace Relationship Ambassador to work across the state to primarily market to and recruit retailers to a virtual marketplace and community platform for Alabama businesses and their products. We are looking for someone who is as passionate about promoting our state and its unique culture and lifestyle as we are, and who can communicate that excitement to prospects in one-on-one meetings with retailers and at events with our broader community of customers.

As part of your responsibilities, you will help retailers understand the platform and the seamless process of selling their products on the virtual marketplace. Our ideal applicant has some retail or sales experience and is comfortable speaking to a high volume of potential clients about a technology based consumer product sales platform. You will also serve as the liaison between retailers and inter-departments to coordinate efficient and timely onboarding of new vendors onto the platform.

This critical role for the company involves outside and inside sales efforts to bring new retailers into the marketplace network working towards established sales goals. In addition, you will communicate with existing clients on an ongoing basis to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed. Building strong client relationships and networking to expand our reach throughout the state is a priority.

Bachelor's (B.A.) degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, Powerpoint, and be comfortable in a Windows operating system environment.
